Christchurch Women's Hospital.
Description:
This is a series of pregnancy sculptures
starting at 9 weeks and about every 3-4 weeks
after we created another sculpture...going
through to 36 weeks. It
is a donation to the new Christchurch
Women's Hospital. In
New Zealand having a baby is free. Since we
have 3 sons and we wanted to give something
back to their brand new facility that has
taken 3 years to create.
Publicity:
We
will receive country wide television
coverage in New Zealand for this donation.
The National News will run a story on us in
February 2005. Our pregnancy cast series
will be the basis of the story. They will
film us casting the girl that modeled
for the pregnancy pieces. They follow that
by filming the art director for the hospital
visiting to see the final pieces. Then they
will film the installation, ended by
an interview with us.
