Hitchcock is a multi-faceted artist and sculptor proficient in a variety of techniques, but he is known best for his innovative and highly unique castings taken from life. In addition Philip is the designer of the coveted LA Ovations Awards that are presented by Theatre LA to deserving LA stage productions each year. He is also the designer and fabricator of the ALI Award.

Based in Venice , California , but with an international clientele, Hitchcock's work can be found in private collections, and gracing corporate environments around the world. His images are seen daily on television, in films, and advertising. Hitchcock has donated commissions for auction to numerous charities, including the Center for the Partially Sighted, and the Los Angeles Free Clinic. His artwork has been auctioned to benefit The Los Angeles Theater Center, GLAAD/LA, and OUT Auction.
