Terry McGuirt  Terry is a self taught artist born in Tyler, Texas He attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He became interest in life casting in the 1990's. He began with simple plaster castings of faces and hands, then quickly moved on to more complex and detailed life castings of the human form. He was drawn to life casting by its unique ability to capture a precise moment in time, and he seeks to create that same sense in his work. 

His work has been exhibited in local venues including the Piano Art Association 2004 Members Show, where his piece "Migraine" won 1st place in the three-dimensional category. He is a charter member of the Association of Lifecasters International, as well as a member of the Piano Art Association, the Visual Arts Coalition of Dallas and the Visual Arts Society of Texas.
