Topic Subject : Mum and baby clasped hand cast |
|
Hello, I have been having a recurrent problem with trying to take a casting from a mum and her 14 month old. It is just a plain casting, hands into alginate and then hands out and plaster in. The problem is that the child is really averse to holding mums hand and wriggles ferociously thus ruining the mould! Mums hand is perfect but the childs is not! I think she would tolerate having her hand in the alginate on her own without holding mums hand but mum really wants them to have clasped hands. Has anyone any ideas that may be able to help me. I did think I could do two seperate hands but am unsure how to position them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
