M&Ms! I cast a whole family's hands together. The two older children were fine, but the 18 month old refused to cooperate. The mother came up with the solution ~ M&Ms. The special treat distracted the baby. She grasped Daddy's index finger with one hand (he gently helped keep it in place with his thumb) and she picked up the M&Ms with her free hand. As long as she had her special treats, she was fine.
Just a thought.
