I have been promoting the art of lifecasting for the last three years. I work as a tutor for children in England and set up a studio for art two years ago as my own business.
Lifecasting can be awkward sometimes, clients can have high expectations. i can remember one client asking if I could lifecast the head of her dog. mmmmm..
The joys a cast can bring are immeasurable. Children find it a fascination, parents like a keepsake, women like the femininity and the glorious reward of becoming a sensual work of art. The elderly like to hold on to each other forever, and the terminally ill get to leave a legacy and an emotional piece to hold onto for as long as its needed.
I have just been nominated as business mum of the year, and inspirational business woman, and I must admit I am in the most rural of places in East Anglia so it can be hard to promote awareness. I love looking at the work all of us lifecasters produce, and thanks to this forum,I have been able to keep up to date with all materials and processes/companies others use. Thank you for being inspiring!
