Topic Subject : Re: A new topic has been added-Carcinogens in Alginate |
|
Hi Sherri
Long term use can cause lung problems, and even lung cancer which is
why it's best to use silica free or at least a dust mask and mix away
from clients. One off or occasional encounters by clients are
unlikely to cause any danger unless they have a particular
sensitivity, but this is extremely rare. It's more us long-term
professionals that are likely to be getting lungs like coal miners
after decades of breathing in the wrong stuff.
