Miss USA 2006, Tara Conner:--
There has been a great deal of discussion recently in the press

mostly negative, concerning Tara Conner, Miss USA. In September, I had
the pleasure of casting her face. I say "pleasure" because Tara was a
joy to work with. She arrived at almost 6 P.M. after a long day of
appearances and while I know she was tiried, she was cheerful

cooperative, and endured the process without complaint. I have been
saddened to hear some of the things that have been said about her and
wish her the best.

Tara was cast in FiberGel by ArtMolds. I made a plaster positive in
which I opened her eyes and then made a silocone rubber mold. The
finished mask was cast in Forton MG with copper powder. The hair and
cloth had a green patina solution applied but the skin was allowed to
take a natural patina for about two weeks prior to buffing. I made
three copies, one for Tara, one for the Miss Universe organization

and one I am keeping.
