Hi Robert,
I usually brush and "torch" the resin and fabric. I brush the resin in and use a torch to force it deep into the fibers. On occasion, I have dipped the fabric into a container of resin, gently wrung it out, and shaped it onto the sculpture. Still a torch is useful. (Rubber gloves are manditory.)
