Frank

Has it been years?! Thanks for the reply. I'll look into the latex admixture
and polyfibre.

Frank, a few years back you gave us all a bit of a lesson on your technique
on using cotton batting. Good lesson. So in the same spirit of sharing, you
may want to add a percentage of latex admixture to your mix along with a
certain type of polyfibre. This will make your casts far more durable than
they are now with out going to the extra added expense of using Aqua Resin.

Nice piece and finish. What is the sturdiness and breakability of this or
any resin as opposed to plaster/hydrocal? I've personally been finding that
even with fiberglass reinforcement, plaster is essentially just as
breakable. The embedded fiberglass actually makes it more difficult (for me)
to re-place the broken parts with the whole.

Aqua Resin Results:--
Hey, I have been testing Aqua Resin. I thought I would share some results in
picture form. I like this material because it is very forgiving on
measurements, a gram scale is not needed, and you can certainly control
viscosity without being a chemist! I am not putting down any other products

I
just find Aqua Resin easy to work with.
