Gormley's iron men:--
Members may be interested in the case of " Gormley's iron men".
"The rusty men, all moulded from the artist's own body, were installed in
July 2005 and immediately won the same kind of affection as had been gained
by Gormley's Angel of the North in Gateshead."(UK) Now though their
continued existence there has been refused planning permission.

There are some interesting side comments on the public's interactions / use
