Hi David.
I have the DVD you refer to. It is the Casting the Female Torso DVD. I'll have a look at it again.
My recollection is that the metal paint was very thin (thinner paint can leave less brush strokes) and probably took a few coats.
I have used a different bronze metal paint and used a dabbing motion with the brush to eliminate directional brush marks. It worked reasonably well. However, I preffer to spray it with a mini HVLP spray gun.
Hope this helps. Maybe someone with more painting experience can give you a better answer.
