I enjoyed the historical aspects of the interview very much, especially seeing the face cast of George Washington. There are a number of figures in history that if casts had been made of, the experience of viewing their true likeness would be invaluable. Thanks for the info!

I suspect all our members are either hibernating or are just fed up with my
forum postings. Except for Philip Hitchcock and two others Dan Spector and
Klitzen who could not see it due to slow connections, I had no feed back on
the life casting promo video as I had requested.
However, this video is now also available on the home page of
lifecasting.org. Not that there will be a great ALI team rush to view it
based on yesterday's ho hum experience. I am hopeful though that newcomers
and visitors can benefit from it.
As to Klitzen's request for a downloadable file in mpg format for those with
the tin can and string Internet connections I'll post that in the ALI
library this morning.

These video-sharing / video-server sites are a wonderful step forward for
the Web ...
..... but, is there any chance of a dowloadable copy for those who are
technologically retarded / do not use MS or Mac / have slow connections /
etc. ?
(Also in a standard format (e.g. *.mpg.)
I, for example, generally use a very slow dial-up connection, that does not
allow realtime video viewing, but I'm happy to leave it downloading in the
background and watch later.
