Topic Subject : Re: Re: pricing help

Thanks to Robert and Dan both for your advice!

oops. . . feet, not inches.
This is a bit of a difficult situation because I am dealing with somebody on the charity board and not directly with the gallery. I'm not getting any help with pricing from them because they know less about it than I do . .they just want to make as much profit for their cause as possible! I have been searching the internet to find something similar to compare this piece to, but have been unlucky so far. If my work does not sell in the gallery it can be put into a silent auction. I have the option at that point to suggest a min. bid that is lower than my original sale price. I guess I will just have to take a stab in the dark at this one!

I'm an artist, not a business person. Does anybody else find pricing the trickiest part of the job?!
