The fact that you are putting a piece into an art gallery means that you  
might want to ask the gallery owner, based on size, content, materials, etc.  
That is part of the art galleries responsibility, to help new artists. Also  
having an idea as to what similar sculpture, paintings, etc., go for with an  
"unknown" artist rather than looking at a Picasso ceramic original of similar  
size and content that is worth millions. It's a very difficult part of the  
process of making art and then having to put a price on something that may take  
dozens or even hundreds of hours of time to complete and not over price the art  
when the artist is new to selling their work. Since it's a charity exhibit  
  
pieces may go for higher prices then they might at a non charity venue since  
there is more status giving for "charity."
