This is really sad news. The last time I met Guy personally was in 2007 at the Washington DC conference of Anaplastologists. I remember for the banquet we had a fancy dress theme and Guy turned up with a black eye. It was so well done that I actually thought he had bumped into a door.
I've used his colors and they are probably the best I've used in the last four decades. In my book Guy is one of those pioneers who have influenced the fields of both Anaplastology and Special FX. Not to forget how much of an inspiration he was in the ALI.
