Thanks Todd.
When I get an idea for a peice, that comes quickly. My best ideas normally come to me while I'm driving ???..who knows why. I cast this peice in six sessions using eleven individual molds on one very patient model. I cast the peices over a couple of month period, but the actual casting time was about 8 hours. I estimate that laminating the fiberglass, seaming the parts together, creating the sphere and make a metal armature that is inside the sculpture took about 40 hours and then another 20 hours to sculpt the hair and apply the finish.
