Hi Bill,
I've been using cheesecloth, and am pretty happy with the results. It's cheap, and you can apply large sections quickly. I tap it into the alginate with my fingertips so it weaves in & out. If if the alginate sets up and the cheesecloth doesn't adhere, I just spritz the alginate & cheesecloth with algislo.
Does anyone else use cheesecloth instead of cotton batting?
