Talk to Ron Young. He has an enormous amount of experience. If memory serves me, the key to using Ron's products is the undercoat that you use with the material. It also depends on the material that you use for your casting.

Metal Coatings Paint:--
Does anyone have any experience with the Metal Coatings Paint from Sculpt Nouveau? I am looking for someone who has had hands on experience spraying this material. Will a 1.7mm tip on an HVLP gun be large enough? I would prefer to not use a critter sprayer although I hear it works. I have seen Dump spray guns suggested. Any insight?
In addition, I am looking for information on how well the Metal Coatings C type held up to power tool polishing. The web site says non-stitched felt pads between 600 and 1200 RPM work well. I asked a couple of east coast stores that carry the product and they were not real helpful.
