Did Mr Horn want to be removed from membership? or just cease getting emails
straight in to his mailbox?
Did I confuse Mr Horn with Mr Myers (Chris Fletcher's observation)? I didn't
address anyone by name. I too sometimes find it difficult to tell who has sent a
message to the forum, and yes it is a little weird seeing them all start "Hello
Dan."
All I know is, since I deleted the earlier requests, we were exchanging maybe
4-5 messages a day, some of which I composed slowly and thoughtfully, and who
would consider that number to be overwhelming his mailbox? We were discussing
how an Irish artist might compensate for difficulty getting the latest, greatest
materials. Why would anyone complain about the tenor of that exchange? If you
walked into a discussion in midstream, wouldn't it be most polite to quietly
listen and see how it goes? And this person threatened to tell his ISP (or some
such) on us.
...Hence my Crybaby crack, along with the only useful advice posted.to him. I
think my pearls of deep wisdom should be savored, not escaped from.
I am more offended by the sanctimonious apologies served up by several members
who seem not to understand the flow of the conversation. CJ and Brent, possibly
our best artists, appear to have left the council fire. Who will we drive off
next with this adolescent bickering?
