Topic Subject : RE: clarification |
|
This message is in response to a number of in-forum and off line messages.
Thank you so much for your kind emails both off line and within the forum.
Also thank you for your graciousness, thoughtfulness and sensitivity in
dealing with this issue.
I deleted Horn's membership for a number of reasons. First he is the only
member in 489 that claims they didn't know they were a member.
Then he complained on the forum as to why he was getting all the email --
when clearly it states on bottom of each message that it is the ALI forum.
Then he provoked numerous extraneous emails.
His email referred us to a website www.usthink.com that had nothing to do
with art. The home page states: "The Horn Group offers guidance, leadership
and extensive executive experience to corporations and business owners."
ALI is about life casting. A requirement for ALI is to have our logo and a
link back on the artist's website. It states that in the membership criteria
before an application can be submitted.
My sensibilities are that an artist with such boastful claims would be proud
to refer us to some us his work. Chris Fletcher suggested this as well.
When I contacted him off line he sent me a long rambling email reply that
gave me pause is the person okay.
I have now received 4 emails from him.
Finally he was a major distraction.
We must have some criteria for member acceptance -- there is no limit to
eccentricity -- but credibly is stretched with this application.
That is my entire rationale. However, I will gladly entertain any member's
comments, arguments, etc. off-line.
Warmest regards
Ed McCormick

Fw: clarification:--
I am now unable to get into the site as a member and am asking for
clarification from someone so I can move on one way or another.
