I am getting several emails per day from your group and I don't think
anybody has responded to me yet with regards to my membership application.
If my membership has been approved I would like to know so I can respond to
all these emails properly.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
2nd Annual Life Casting Sculpture Competition Announced
Summit, NJ (USA) May 10, 2006, ArtMolds, the molding and casting materials
company, and the Association of Lifecasters International have jointly
announced that it will again co-sponsor the 2nd Annual Life Caster's
Sculpture Awards.
This year's theme is: "Wild For Art." Artists are encouraged to include this
theme in their work.
Since one of the central purposes of Association of Lifecasters
International (ALI) is to promote life casting awareness among the general
public . . . the competition is designed to do just that with a spirit of
fun and creativity.
The Awards will be given in the following categories:
Best Use of Medium
Most Outrageous
Most Meaningful Use of Art Form
Public Relations Award for Coverage in Media
PRIZES:
This year there will be eight opportunities to win:
The winner of each category will receive an original designed and engraved
ALI Trophy, plus US$ 500.00
Runners up in each category will receive an award certificate of
recognition.
The competition trophy known as "ALI" was created by Philip Hitchcock, ALI
of formerly of Venice, California and now more recently, St. Louis
Missouri, especially for the competition. This unique one-of-a-kind award is
created in "cold cast" metal with a glass-green Lucite base and signed by
the artist. The engraved base will include the winner's name. Mr. Hitchcock
an internationally renowned artist and sculptor designed the prestigious
Ovations Award given each year to deserving members of the Los Angeles
Theatre industry.
RULES:
1. Limited to ALI Members. (Membership in ALI is free. To become a member
and fill out the short application at the ALI site www.lifecasting.org)
2. The artist must create a piece of life casting art within one of the four
categories.
3. A photo(s) of the artwork in a 300 dpi JPEG format must be submitted
along with the official application. The application must be in English.
Please include a copy of the artist's headshot with your submittal.
RESULTS:
Contest results will be announced November 1, 2006. In additions, photos of
the winners along with the story of their piece will appear in Art Casting
Journal. News release will be circulated to art magazines, Internet art
sites and art organizations to further promote our artists.
DEADLINE
All entries must be received by October 1st 2006.

BACKGROUND
ArtMolds manufactures life casting kits and mold making materials for
artists, special effects, prosthetics and taxidermy. ArtMolds' products are
