Topic Subject : RE: Faux Finishes?

Dear Bill

Our KastEZ resin in our MoldGel alginate works extremely well for this
method. The fast set is required as resin and water don't mix and you'll get
surface foaming. It is known as cold casting.

Re: Faux Finishes?:--

Has anyone tried mixing metal powder into resin and pouring that into an
alginate mold ?? I tried using a standard set resin but the moisture in the
alginate caused air bubbles. So, I tried a quick set resin and that worked
out good. Can anyone else share any experiences with that ??
