Topic Subject : Re: copyright

Ed and Guy

Once again I'm surprised that people use "a" forum to air their private
issues that have nothing to do with those who may read the forum. That said, I
also wish to thank you both for the general information provided to the readers
on copy right and copy right infringement.
Copy right is something that I have dealt with for several decades (yes, I'm
old) in the art foundry. When I'm asked to reproduce a piece for someone
that is not the creator of the object, I have for years asked for documentation
from the artist or heirs to reproduce the piece. Also I have been contacted to
"sculpt" reproductions of famous sculptures and have refused, noting that it
was asked by someone who either owns an original or has not received
permission from the artists estate, etc.

Hope you two work it out after all of these years.

Thanks Ed for your ethics, it's nice to know.

Cheers
