So my little hobby is growing into a real small business and I'm concerned about the people who walk through my studio doors- or who's homes I visit, to make a life casting.
As a members of usaa I called to buy small business liability. But their underwriters won't cover me- like tatoo artists- because my art Touches the body. I explained that only the process does with very safe non toxic matial and that I even have body work training ( but no massage license )
Is there a legit above board way to get small business liability insurance? Or a contract to sign with clients ( ESP with kids) that will protect parties?
Sorry boring stuff... But such is moving from private hobby to public offering.
Love to hear your thoughts
Juliann
