I have used Algi-Slo as well and it does work. I was referring to doing larger casts where you will need to "piece" areas due to the quick cure time

Depends on where you get them. I get a whole case for . What do you use ?? I've seen people dip burlap stips in plaster.

I would't say a fraction but it is cheaper, however, you still need alginate, 2 applications of a support shell (bandages or whatever) and plater for the donor cast.

True with any silicone. That's why God created mold release (i.e. hair conditioner or petroleum jelly :)

True, and make sure the model is not alergic to silicone. Do a test patch first.
