Topic Subject : Full head lifecast body double |
|
Hi all,
I would like to do the following:
- make a mold using plaster bandages (mother mold) and Body Double from smooth-on to do a full head lifecast with open eyes, cast pigmented silicone (Dragon Skin) DIRECTLY in the Body Double mold (with silicone release agent), and use rigid urethane for filler.
I want to produce several decent display heads.
My question: is Body Double flexible enough to be applied in one continuous layer over the model's head down to the shoulders and removed (after cure) without need to cut Body Double? This way it would be possible to create a one piece Body Double silicone mold (of course mother mold would be in two parts) ??
Thank you. Luc
