October is breast cancer awareness month.
I just completed upper torso castings of ten breast cancer survivors. Some of the women had one breast removed while others had both removed. While the casting was emotionally draining the experiance was life changing. I also discovered beauty in an unexpected subject matter. The castings will be displayed at a black tie event this month in order to raise awareness as well as some money for the ladies in Cornwall Ontario, Canada. I donated my time and the sculptures, it feels very good to use my lifecasting skills to help in a small way.
