the pink material is alginate the backhalf on that one was I  
believe plasterbandage .  
We take about 45 minutes to do a full body cast thats the lot in one go ,a  
head and shoulders 12 minutes to 15.  
we have had lots of practice . .

John .. . .the last picture in the Archive section of your website (which is  
fantastic by the way) shows you putting what appears to be plaster (not  
plaster bandages) over the back side of a woman that has been covered in  
alginate or skin safe silicon...?  
  
If it is alginate . .. does the plaster mother mold stick to the alginate  
when quite a bit of time has passed since it finished setting up?   I don't  
see how one could get the plaster on that fast if not!
