Thought it worth sharing this piece.
Not because it is any good (by choice I used an old deformed mould; the cast is far from 'finished'; etc!). It's just the first time I had successfully used this particular resin/metal mix (hence the risk aversive use of a rejected mould;-)>
The excitement of de-moulding something in a new material, the pleasure in a new technique, it's all a reminder that it is too easy to get stuck in a rut . . . and of course the title: the great thing about the first work in any new technique is that it is always (for that moment) 'the best' I've done so far ....
