I must confess that although I do the photography of my sculpture, I pay a web designer to design and maintatin my site. Since he uses my site as a portfolio piece, he decided it was time for an updated look. Yes, he thinks "flash" is passe now. He also wanted my site to look more professional and less like a video game. Likewise, he removed all music and sound. It was kind of odd, really. Everything he designed into it over the years, he now wanted to change! It was like watching Madonna reinvent herself.
I'm very happpy with the changes, and I think the cost is justified, even if it was unexpected!! He informs me that my site is now 230 pages... Now he wants to redo the video.
