Topic Subject : Re: plaster bandages

Lidia, using cheesecloth and quick setting plaster rather than plaster bandages is easier, faster, less expensive, and results in less imperfections. And as for overheating the subject, in over 25 years of life casting, I have never had anyone mention being uncomfortable due to heat. The subject is well insulated by the alginate and the plaster and and cheesecloth barely gets warm in any event.
