To ALI members,
I am taking the opportunity to formally address you as founder of the International Life Cast Museum and encourage you to take advantage of what we have to offer. As we progress toward a permanent site for our collection of over 800 life-casts, here in Massachusetts, we continue to improve on our web site. We are a not-for-profit organization with a mission to serve our community – and you all are a vital part of this community.
Our website has a Virtual Gallery for you to share your work with a worldwide audience, along with a brief bio and your contact information. The library has seven areas with extensive support material featuring a full list of Technical Terms for life casters, great safety tips, and 60 detailed articles written by Dave Parvin. To further assist you, our Library has a directory of Worldwide Life-Cast Suppliers including 38 countries with 241 life-cast suppliers. There is also a technical Forum currently covering 137 topics, all easily accessible to answer a variety of questions on mold making, casting, finishing, health & legal questions and even a gallery to show your works in progress along with your finished pieces.
