Did a casting of Miss CO USA on Monday which photographer Jeff DeHaven captured in a three minute video and placed on You Tube. To see, just Google Jeff DeHaven Photography Miss Colorado and the link will be near the top of the page. My only regret is that the video doesn't show the metallic Forton MG finished piece which I will not have finished for about a week. But still a very inexpensive way to show one's work to, hopefully, a large number of people.
Used FiberGel by ArtMolds, mother mold was cheesecloth and Impression Dental Plaster. Casting as shown is just Regular Dental plaster. I will make a tin cured silicone rubber mold of the face and cast several copies in Forton MG with copper powder.
Blair, Miss CO USA, had received a considerable amount of national publicity this year, including being on the Today Show, because she and her mother had lost their home due to foreclosure because of some very difficult circumstances.
