Topic Subject : Air bubbles |

Hi folks. I don't usually post as I like to stay in the background. I am looking for your thoughts on the following. Some times it is not always possible to use a degassing chamber to fill your Alginate moulds with plaster especially if your hundreds of miles from your studio. So we are tormented by the tiny air bubbles that we did not manage to get out. I do not suffer greatly from these but do on occasion get a few small groups. What would you use to fill these holes apart from plaster. I have in the past found Plasticine fantastic as it is easy to manage and clean away. I was thinking about a malleable clay that will dry out pretty fast but never tested this theory. Do you have any better methods.
Many thanks Mike
