Just learned from Mary Beth White, wife of Jon White publisher of "Sculpture Journal", that Jon passed away yesterday after recently suffering a stroke. Jon was a supporter of life casting. His magazine has been a platform for disseminating information on life casting techniques and after a short hiatus will continue to do so.
Jon has been a close and personal friend whom I, personally, will dearly miss. As it says in the Mass for the Dead, "May angles lead you into paradise..."
