Topic Subject : Selling degassing unit |
|
Just putting some initial feelers out, but am thinking of selling my Degassing chamber/pump. It's had minimal usage, nearly good-as-new condition apart from a few scratches, works perfectly, comes with all the paperwork/manuals and is very large (haven't measured yet, but is twice the size of others I've seen in other workshops so good for tall sculptures and bug buckets of stuff (but can obviously still be used for small stuff too). Perfect for those using resins and silicone, but also very good with getting air bubbles out of plaster for perfect plaster casts.
Brand new this particular model retails at around 4500 UK pounds, and I think I want at least 1500 for it...but am still researching second hand value at the moment, as some people have said it may be worth more even second hand. But if anyone is desperate for one, or can suggest places I could advertise in the UK it other than ebay (ie somewhere modelmakers/lifecasters/film industry technicians might see the advert) then please drop me an email on cj@rockabelly.co.uk . Thank you. Oh and it's so bloomin heavy the buyer would need to come and collect from Kent.
If anyone's wondering why I'd want to sell it if it's so good, it's because my partner and I moved in together last year and combined workshop equipment and so we're selling off any duplicate tools or equipment that we haven't got space for two of. Happy to provide photos/measurements/brand details etc just haven't got around to it yet and am just putting out the initial feelers to see if there's any interest.
Thanks
CJ
