Here is a piece I just finished up last night-- Not exactly Life casting but I thought it was cool enough to share as you could use the techniques in some lifecasting pieces as I know my fried Dave has done.
This was made with raku clay, the chain mail embedded into it, bisque fired and then glazed and Raku fired. I then washed it down with Bars keepers to remove the residual soot and ash and bring out the final colors.
