I have written to the sculptor this morning with your questions in hopes that he will answer themfor us:
Dear Jason,
I am the Managing Director of the Association of Lifecasting International (lifecasting.org) an international guild of life casting artists. I would like to congratulate you on you extraordinary work in Mexico that I happened to run across on the Internet yesterday.
I posted the video on the ALI site forum which elicited amazing responses from our artist members worldwide.
First I would invite you to join our association. You can see the short membership application at lifecasting.org. It is at no cost.
Second I was wondering if you would be kind enough to answer the many questions your work has raised from our members?
How was it paid for?
How many people were involved with the project?
Were they molded and cast in one piece or mold in parts and joined?
How long did it take from start to finish?
What material was used for mold making?
What material was used for casting?
What permissions were needed to place your works?
Again, many thanks for your great work.
Warmest regards,
Ed McCormick
