Topic Subject : Alginate lumpy issue |
|
I had used alginate to make a cast of my girlfriends hand, and when i was mixing it, it wasn't smooth at all. It remained lumpy. Is there something i did not do to make it smooth?
And when i used a liquid plastic to use in my cast, it seems like it takes forever to dry properly.
Somehow i feel i did something wrong.
Is there anyone who has a good idea as to what i can use to make artwork?
I was looking for plaster of paris, but i found that it was really hard to get and expensive when i found it at an art store. what i eventually want to do is make a statue of my gf face, and i want to make sure it will look awsome.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx in advance.
Bryan
