Topic Subject : Re: casting hair of dark colored people |
|
As we discussed on the phone last night, casting hair of people of different races really doesn't pose any serious problems if remember that casting hair on anyone has some limitations. I have covered the subject in a series of two articles which are in the ALI Library.
There are presently two brands of skin safe fast setting thixotropic platinum cured silicone rubber which release from hair very easily. One was mentioned by Clay, the other is by MoldLife. However, I am confident that you can use alginate with excellent results, especially FiberGel with its higher tear resistance.
Keep us advised of how you do. Photos are always nice.
