Topic Subject : Sealing plaster? |
|
Hi Everybody.
This website is the best! this is my first post and i was looking for some advice...
I have been life casting for a little while now in a crystacal R plaster. I like this plaster because it sets in a perfect pure white. im wanting to seal more of my pieces. I have tried 'white' shallac but it still dries slightly off white / creamy colour. has anybody found anything that will seal the plaster and keep its pure white colour? I have tried the 'milk method' but it seems to take a while as you need several coats? Is it really neccessary to seal plaster at all?
i look forward to your replies! happy casting :D
