Thanks Dave, What fish are you targetting in Alaska? here I go for Snapper in my little dinghy...
Anyway, I always had trouble with the Forton accelerant... What quantities do you need? Mmmm... Must weight things precisely and measure exactely... failing that, it does not work at all or it snap sets and becomes unusable too early...
With that heat gun method I can mix a large batch, enough for the complete casting, and apply it quicly in one go...
I am just unsure of the long term effect on the durability of the casting... I'll try and ask the manufacturer...
