Thanks for your kind words about my letter and my work. It is nice to 'meet' a lifecaster from South Africa. My partner was born there.
My advice with regards to your regional issue with nudity is to bring people in with the more 'safe' options like baby hands/feet, couple and family hand casts, face casts and so forth, and have a few more revealing pieces such as pregnant bellies, torsos, bottoms around the studio (but not too many) so that people coming to the studio can begin to relax about the idea and hopefully come back when they see how beautiful they are. Many of my clients are very private people, not necessarily into nudes on the whole, but will often go the 'extra mile' for a special piece of sculpture or a bodycast for their loved one. The views of people on an individual basis may vary enormously from the cultural acceptable norm, and once they know they can trust you and feel comfortable with you as a professional, may be more willing to try more daring work with you.
