I didn't respond to this right away because I wanted to think about it and I wanted to discuss it with Mike Sisbarro who is the best rubber expert I know. We both agree that covering the keyboard any kind of rubber will result in the rubber seeping into all the spaces around the keys destroying the keyboard. We don't see anyway of fulfilling the customer's wishes. Our best idea is to contact the keyboard's manufacturer and see if a non function exact copy exists.
If you come up with a solution, please be sure to post it here. I for one will be curious as to what you end up doing.
