Topic Subject : Re: Goose bumps on models

James, in the AlI Library there is an article I wrote some years ago titled "How To Extend the Setting Time of Alginate..." While my intention was to allow more more time in constructing the alginate mold and bonding it to the supporting mold, the same solution, using AlgiSlo, would allow the water to be warmer and still give sufficient working time. I wrote this article before ArtMolds introduced Fibergel which is now my alginate of choice for both face add torso casting.

By the way, in most cases I like the goose bumps which, I think, add to the realism. After all, we do not get goose bumps on our hands and faces. But to each his own.
Dave
