Has anyone used LifeMold Alginate by Environmolds? I'm a new lifecaster and have not been getting good results with it. I'm having trouble with clumping, the strength, and set time. It feels like egg whites that are almost cooked. I've tried using different types of water, next I'll be trying a faster mixer. The site claims to have the highest mix ratio of 1:5, but it doesn't seem very strong to me. Maybe I'm using too much water, maybe too little? Maybe you just get what you pay for, it was cheaper than others. Any thoughts?
Can anyone post or email a brand of alginate that they like to use best?
