Topic Subject : Re: LifeMold Alginate |

Janette,
I have been using alginates by ArtMolds/Environmolds for YEARS with excellent results. I fact, I did a torso casting today and and on Saturday with 20 helpers, we will cast between 650 and 750 kids' hands as part of an art day for a suburb of Denver. I got your phone number off your web site and will try to call you Saturday morning. I am pretty confident that I can figure out what is going on and at least would like to try before you start your torso casting.
I will try to attach a photo of the torso casting I did today. It is shown in plaster but I never use plaster as a final material. In this case, I will make a silicone rubber mold and the finished piece will be in metallic Forton MG. The model calls herself Megan Citation X and flew in from the Virgin Islands to do the casting.
By the way, I grew up in Washington State and lived near you in Anacortes in junior high many years ago. I have lived in Denver for 34 years and still think of Washington State as home.
Hope to talk to you in the morning.
Dave
