Topic Subject : Painted Torso |
|
My finished life castings of faces and torsos for more than two decades has been either Forton MG with metal powders or raku firing. But recently I have had asked a couple of excellent painters to consider white Forton MG torso castings as "canvases" and just paint whatever feels right. Today I got one back which I think is just spectacular. The painter's name is Joel Hurlbut and he said he spent about 20 hours on it. I was so pleased that I gave him two more castings of different models to paint. I am attaching a photograph but, believe me, the photograph doesn't do it justice. Dave
