Starter kit will be plenty--you just have to make sure that you get the FGR 95 to go along with it--Shipping can be expensive but the end result is worth it. It is my mainstay for most of my projects. You can add accelerator (aluminum sulfate solution)into it to speed up the drying time and have a finished piece out of the mold in no time. You will have to experiment with the aluminum sulfate--just use very little -and I emphasize very little or you will waste an entire batch of the forton as it will set up way too quickly.
You can mix metal powder with it and come out with great cold cast pieces- you can color it- lots of ways to use it. Have fun!
